- Photos you upload are used only to make your edit and are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- The images you create stay in your Gallery until you delete your account.

- You can delete your account and every photo at any time from Settings → Delete account.
1. Who we are
Snap AI ("Snap AI", "we", "us") is an AI photo-editing app for Android, available on Google Play. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the app and this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or precise location, and we don't collect them through the app.
3. How we use your information
- To create the edits, stories and try-ons you request, and show them in your Gallery.
- To run your account: track credits, apply subscription benefits and process purchases.
- To keep the service safe and fair, for example by limiting how many requests can be sent at once and preventing abuse.
- To understand which features people use, find bugs and improve the app.
- To measure how well our advertising works.
- To answer your support requests and meet our legal obligations.
4. How AI processing works
When you start an edit, your photo and the instructions for the template you chose are sent securely to our server. From there they go to an image-generation model (currently Google's Gemini image model, accessed through OpenRouter), which returns the result to us and then to you.
We do not use your photos to train AI models. Our AI providers process them to produce your result, under their own API terms.
AI results are generated automatically and may not always be accurate. Please don't upload photos of other people without their permission.
6. Storage and security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Your images are kept in private storage and can only be opened through short-lived links issued to your account. Each request is tied to a signed access token for your device.
Our providers may store and process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can access it.
7. Delete your account and data
In the app
- Open Snap AI and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
This permanently deletes your account, your credit balance, your uploaded photos and every image you created from our servers. It can't be undone.
Without the app
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data". If you can, include your User ID from Settings → Contact support so we can find your account. We'll confirm deletion within 30 days.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions first, so you aren't charged again.
We may keep a limited record of payments where tax or accounting law requires it. These records aren't linked to your photos.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Withdraw your consent, or object to certain processing.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
To limit ad tracking, open your Android settings → Google → Ads and delete or reset your advertising ID. To make any other request, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Snap AI is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you are under 18, please use Snap AI only with a parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we'll delete their data.
10. App permissions
- Camera: to take a new photo to edit, only when you choose to.
- Photos and media: to pick a photo to edit and to save your results to your gallery.
You can change these permissions at any time in your Android settings.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
